  J. Martin Groff EPHRATA J. Martin Groff, 81, entered into rest at his residence 
  in West Earl Township on Sunday, May 9, 2010. He was the husband of Laura 
  Dreibelbis Groff, Ephrata. He was born in West Earl, a son of the late John M. 
  and Mary E. Snyder Groff. J. Martin was a member of Groffdale Mennonite Church, 
  Weaverland Conference and worked as a self employed mechanic. Surviving in 
  addition to his wife, are his children, Kenneth M., husband of Irene (Weaver) 
  Groff of Ephrata, Kevin M., husband of Judy (Hoover) Groff of Manheim, Elaine 
  M., wife of John D. Weaver of Kinzer, Edith M., wife of Marlin R. Weaver of 
  Stevens, Alverta M., wife of Ervin S. Martin of Mohnton, Marlene M., wife of 
  Stephen L. Martin of Myerstown, Karen M., wife of Glenn Z. Musser of 
  Fredricksburg; 28 grandchildren; and 48 greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in 
  death by his previous wife, Mary Edna (Martin) Groff; two brothers, Amos S. 
  Groff and Aaron S. Groff; and three sisters, Lizzie Rutt, Anna Mae Martin, and 
  Luella Martin. A viewing will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at 
  Wheat Ridge Chapel at Fairmount Homes. The funeral services will be held at 9 
  a.m. on Friday at Wheat Ridge Chapel with further services at 9:30 a.m. at 
  Groffdale Mennonite Church (Weaverland Conference), with Bishop Curvin 
  Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow in the Groffdale Mennonite 
  Cemetery Please omit flowers. Arrangements by Stradling Funeral Homes, 
  Akron/Ephrata.
