  Helen M. Moyer 
   
  MEDIA Helen McCollough Moyer, 93, formerly of Richland, passed away Saturday, 
  December 17, 2011. She was the widow of Ray G. Moyer, owner of Moyer Knitting 
  Mills. Mrs. Moyer was born in Lancaster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Austin E. 
  McCollough, Sr. She was a graduate of Stevens High School in Lancaster and 
  Millersville State University, where she later served on the Board of 
  Trustees. She was a former public school teacher for over 25 years with her 
  last 20 years in the ELCO school system teaching elementary school. Helen was 
  a longtime member of the Nat'l Education Assn., The PA Retired Public School 
  Assn. and the Nat'l Federation of Womens' Clubs of America. A former active 
  participant of St. Paul's UCC in Millbach, she was a current member of the 
  First United Methodist Church, Media. She is survived by her daughter, 
  Elizabeth Shanaman, wife of William P. Shanaman of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; 
  grandsons, Michael (Brandy) Reiter and Joseph (Carrie) Reiter of Bellefonte; 
  one great-grandson; three great-granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews. 
  Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 
  Cumberland St., Lebanon. Interment will be in Richland Cemetery.
