  Barry J. Peifer 
  
  ELIZABETHTOWN Barry J. Peifer, 73, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, 
  December 1, 2011, at Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Jennie V. 
  (Peiffer) Peifer. They were married 48 years in April 2011. Born in Lebanon, 
  he was the son of the late John Albert and Stella (Shaak) Peifer. Barry 
  retired in 2000 from M&M Mars, Elizabethtown, where he was employed as a 
  machinist. He was a 1956 graduate of Lebanon High School and was a U.S. Marine 
  Corps Veteran. A beloved husband, father, and grandfather, he was an avid 
  sports fan, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Barry was a member of the Civil 
  War Club, the Shays of Cornwall. He also enjoyed counting birds at Hawk 
  Mountain. In addition ti his wife, Jennie, he is survived by a son, Brian J. 
  Peifer of Lititz; a daughter, Jill M. Aldinger of Elizabethtown; two 
  grandsons, Cain and Colton Aldinger; a sister, Pamela Dunk; a half sister, 
  Cathy Heckler; and three half brothers, Walter, John, and Joseph Peifer. A 
  funeral service will be held on Tuesday at Miller/Sekely Funeral Services, 130 
  N. Market St., Elizabethtown, at 11 a.m. Friends may call on Tuesday at the 
  funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place 
  at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at a later date.
