  PALMYRA Norman Heisey Risser, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 
  18, 2011, at Twin Oaks Nursing Home in Campbelltown. He is survived by his 
  loving wife, Anita (Weber) Bomgardner Risser. He was born Monday, October 22, 
  1923, in Palmyra, to the late Norman D. and Mary Heisey Risser. He was the 
  founder and original owner of Rissers Auto Sales, former longtime member of the 
  Quentin Riding Club, Past President of PA Dutch Region ACAA, and sold feed for 
  Tioga Mills. He was a horseman at heart and participated in the Palmyra parades 
  as escort for Miss America and Miss Pennsylvania with his team and carriage. He 
  was a fun loving, genuine man who loved his family beyond words. He is survived 
  by a daughter, Barbara A. Risser, wife of Glenn E. Brandt of Palmyra; a son, 
  David A. Risser and wife, Traci J. of Annville; a stepson, Robert L. Bomgardner 
  of New York; a stepdaughter, Bonita S. Golla, wife of Edward of Mechanicsburg; 
  a grandson, Chad D. Wickes and wife, Joyce of Newmanstown; a granddaughter, 
  Kate E. Risser; a great-grandson, Jacob Wickes; and a sister, Evelyn Huffman of 
  Elizabethtown. He was predeceased by his first wife, Erma (Kraybill) Risser, in 
  1988. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Rothermel Funeral 
  Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078 with Gerald J. 
  Brinser officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing on Tuesday from 
  7 to 9 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will follow the 
  service in Grandview Memorial Park, Annville.
