  MYERSTOWN Mary L. Romig, 78, died Monday, October 10, 2011, at her residence. 
  She was the wife of Wallace E. Romig, Jr., to whom she was married 33 years on 
  September 16. Born in Myerstown, on January 20, 1933, she was the daughter of 
  the late John and Regina (Miller) Smith. She owned the Country House 
  Restaurant, Myerstown, for 10 years, operated a truck delivering groceries to 
  area farms, and a concession stand for four years at the Sunset Grocery 
  Outlet, Lebanon. A member of Myerstown Baptist Church, she enjoyed baking, 
  playing Pinochle, sewing, crafts, camping, traveling, and gospel music. In 
  addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Cindy wife of Scott 
  Patschke of Myerstown, Patti wife of Bruce Mays of Myerstown, Donna Dodd of 
  Allentown, Gail wife of Daryl Keim of Kutztown, and Cynthia Romig of 
  Allentown; sons, Jeffrey husband of Linda Thomas of Myerstown, Earl husband of 
  Fran Thomas of Myerstown, Wallace III husband of Catherine Romig of New 
  Ringgold; 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; sister, Susan wife of 
  Scott Harper of Newmanstown; brothers, John R. husband of Shirley Smith of 
  Myerstown, Robert E. husband of Carol Smith of Myerstown; and many nieces and 
  nephews. She was preceded in death by sons, Robert Thomas and Ricky Romig; 
  granddaughter, Cali Romig; great-grandson, Gavin Thomas; sister, Shirley Fake; 
  and brother, Ronnie Smith. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 17, 
  2011, at 11 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. 
  Viewing Monday at 9 a.m. Interment will be held at the convenience of the 
  family.
