Anthony, 65, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at her home in Boise, Idaho, surrounded by her family. Linda was born on January 18, 1947, in Ashland, to Harold and June (Miller) Peiffer. She graduated from Eleo High School in Myerstown. She was married to Robert W. Anthony at God's Missionary Church in Lebanon, on December 10, 1966. They resided in Pennsylvania and in 1967 they moved to Rock Island, Illinois until 1971, and then on to Boise, Idaho, which they called home until Linda's death. She was a dedicated emergency room nurse at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise for 39 years. Linda was a recipient of seven service awards during her nursing career. She also had three very special interests, cooking, sewing and camping. Linda was a member of Boise Bible Missionary Church where her husband, Rev. Robert W. Anthony, is pastor. Linda is survived by her husband Rev. Robert W. Anthony; children, Susan Spitler (Darrell) of Annville, David W. Anthony (Christina) of Horseshoe Bend, Idaho, Sara Venable (Mark) of Boise, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold C. Peiffer. A very special thanks to St. Alphonsus Emergency Room nurses for their timeless and unconditional care of Linda while she was at home. They volunteered many hours both night and day to be with her. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, 5400 Fairview Ave., Boise. The Rev. Jess Knepper will be officiating. Music will be performed by Dr. and Mrs. John Anthony. A private family burial service will be held at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.
