  LEBANON Helen T. Pond, 65, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2012, at 
  Spang Crest Manor. Born in Bogalousa, La., on August 5, 1947, she was the 
  daughter of the late Walter Coleman Holmes and Dora S. Holmes Houtz, wife of 
  the late Charles I. Houtz. For over 10 years she had worked for Fortna's 
  Transportation, but more importantly, she served as a foster parent to over 400 
  children. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa A., wife of Steven Palumbo 
  of Lititz, and Natanie A., wife of Jason DeHart of Lebanon; sons, Eddie K. Pond 
  and Joshua L. Pond, both of Lebanon; grandchildren, Naomi and Jason, Jr.; her 
  sisters, Sandra F. Holmes of Lebanon, Vicki, and Laura; and her step-mother, 
  Barbara. Services will be at the convenience of the family. Kreamer & Lum 
  Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown, is in charge of the arrangements.
