  MYERSTOWN Aldene M. Heverly Smith, 86, died Saturday, July 28, 2012, at the 
  Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Stanley S. 
  Smith, Sr. who died June 28, 1980. Born in Frankstown Twp., on February 13, 
  1926, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Jenny (Smith) Heverly. A 
  member of Mt. Zion Road Church of the Brethren, Lebanon, she was employed as a 
  shoe cutter at H&H Brown Shoe Factory, Richland, for 8 years, retiring in 1973. 
  She worked for numerous other shoe factories in the area. She is survived by a 
  son, Stanley S. Jr., husband of Bernice Smith of Myerstown; sisters, Joan M. 
  Rohrbach of Lebanon, and Jean M. Heverly of Lebanon; three grandchildren; six 
  great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death 
  by a son, Ronald D. Smith, who died October 28, 2009 and a brother, Howard J. 
  Heverly. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at 11 a.m. 
  from Mt. Zion Road Church of the Brethren, 2087 Mt. Zion Rd., Lebanon. A 
  viewing will be held at 10 a.m. Interment at St. Thomas Cemetery, Bernville. 
  Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
