"Chub" Troutman, Jr., 75, of Berks County, died Friday, February 10, 2012, at his residence. He was the husband of Marie R. (Zechman) Troutman, to whom he would have been married eight years on April 24, 2012. His first wife was Mary E. Rittle Troutman, who died February 25, 2002. Born in Marion Twp., on January 15, 1937, he was the son of the late George S., Sr. and Emma F. (Phillipy) Troutman. A graduate of Marion High School, Berks County, he had been the owner of a dairy farm in Marion Twp. for 40 years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of Tulpehocken U.C.C., Richland, where he had been a former church council member and served as caretaker of the church cemetery for many years. He was a life member of the Marion Grange, a member of the Appalachian Snowmobile Club, Country Western Dancers of Reading, Marion Senior Citizens, and the Pennsylfawnisch Deitsch Dialect and Kultur Society. He enjoyed hunting, country dancing, snowmobiling, camping, and tinkering in his shop. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Debra A., wife of Mark Kieffer of Bethel, Susan E., wife of Robert Lowe of New Freedom, and Diane L., wife of Terrance C. Yingling of Bedford; son, Scott A., husband of Constance Troutman of Mohrsville; stepsons, William, husband of Lisa Ruth of Medina, Ohio, and Ronald, husband of Cathie Ruth of Cornwall; grandchildren, Ann M. Riegel, Vicki S. Eisenhower, Andrew S. Kieffer, Jason S. Troutman, Eric M. Troutman, Douglas S. Troutman, Macy T. Yingling, and Jordan C. Yingling; stepgrandchil-dren, Thomas G. Ruth, Rebecca J. Ruth, Grace E. Ruth, Adelyn M. Ruth, and Jacob N. Ruth; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Grace Kelchner of Myerstown, and Julia, wife of Harold Layser of Myerstown; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Troutman. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from Tulpehocken U.C.C. Viewing Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, and Thursday 10 a.m. at the church. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
