Citizens' Voice October 5, 1985
A former Luzerne woman was a top winner in a Wheel of Fortune game show. Elaine
Rahl, now living in Parma, Ohio, made it to the bonus round winning a camper,
brass bed, jewelry and many other prizes, making a total of $19,000. When she
won, Pat Sazak, master of ceremonies, and Vanna White, hostess, asked Norbert,
her husband, and children, Jeffrey and Alison, how they felt about Elaine's
winnings. They said they were proud of her and knew she could do it. Before
moving to Ohio, Elaine worked as a hairdresser at a Kingston salon. She is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Krall of Luzerne. The show will be aired on
Channel 16 Wednesday night, Oct. 9, at 7.
