Cyril and Methodius Church, Zerbey Avenue, with high mass by Rev. Stephen Gurchick, assisted by Rev. Paul Koval. All descendants of the couple were in attendance to witness the happy event. Mr. and Mrs. Rahl were married 60 years ago yesterday in Czechoslovakia, and soon after left the country of their birth for America. They arrived in this country nearly 40 years ago and settled in McAdoo, later moving to Edwardsville, where they have resided for 23 years. Nine children were born to the union: Mrs. August Bunsa, McAdoo; Mrs, Andrew Woznock, Mrs. John Ivan, Wilkes-Barre; John and Emil, Luzerne; Mrs. David Harper, Mrs. Carl Phillips, Robert Rahl, Edwardsville and Alfred, at home. Mr. Rahl, who is 72, and Mrs Rahl, 69, joined their descendants, nine children, 33 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, in a wedding dinner at the home last night, and their good health was evident in the apparent enjoyment of having all their family participate in wishing them continued health and happiness.
