Mrs. Clare Elizabeth Rahl Dlugosh, 87, of Luzerne, died Sunday, February 24,
2008 in the General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. She was born in Luzerne, and was a
daughter of the late Emil and Elizabeth Roskovinski Rahl. Mrs. Dlugosh was a
graduate of St. Cecelia's High School, Exeter, and Wyoming Seminary School of
Business. She was employed as a teachers aide in the Wyoming Valley West School
District. A member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne, she was also a member of its
Altar and Rosary societies. She was a member and past president of the Deanery
Board of the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women and was a member of the Catholic
Daughters of America. Her husband, Ted E. Dlugosh, preceded her in death.
Surviving are her daughter Mary Clare Rhodes, at home; grandson Timothy Ballo
Esq., Washington D. C. Private funeral services will be held from the Kopicki
Funeral Home, Kingston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 9:30
a.m. in Holy Family Parish, Bennett Street, Luzerne. Interment will be in St.
John the Baptist Cemetery, Dallas. There will be no calling hours.
