Ivan, 94, of Chester Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Friday at her home. Born Feb. 23, 1901, in McAdoo, she was the daughter of the late Ladislav and Elizabeth Frichovsky Rahl. She attended Edwardsville schools and was formerly employed In the garment and silk industries. She was a member of Sacred Heart Slovak Church, North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, and its Altar & Rosary Society. She also served as a past officer with the Pennsylvania Ladies Slovak Catholic Union. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W., in 1957; brothers, John Emil, Robert and Alfred Rahl; sisters; Helen Woznak, Elizabeth Bunsa and Anna Harper. Surviving are a son, John J., Wilkes-Barre; a daughter, Theresa Rutkowski, Milford, Conn.; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a sister, Tillie Phillips, Elmira, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday from the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, Park Avenue and South Street, Wilkes-Barre, with a funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Slovak Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Dallas. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Sacred Heart Slovak Church Building Fund, 601 N.
