Mr. Rahl was born in Austria and came to this country when a young man, settling in McAdoo. He moved to Edwardsville some 30 years ago and for many years before retiring was employed as a boilerman in the mines. Mr. Rahl was a member of SS. Cyril and Method Church, Edwardsville. His wife died last June. Surviving are these children: Mrs. August Bunsa, McAdoo; John, Luzerne merchant; Emil, Luzerne; Mrs. Alex Woznak and Robert, both of Shickshinny; Mrs. John Ivan, Wilkes-, Barre; Alfred, at home; Mrs. Carl Phillips and Mrs. David Harper, both of Edwardsville. He also leaves 36 grandchildren and a brother in Europe.
