Lawrence L. Benner, 100, formerly of McAlisterville, passed on Saturday, March 30,
2024 at Brookline Village, Mifflintown.
Born March 31, 1923 in Fayette Twp., Juniata County, he was a son of the late Harry
and Emma (Adams) Benner.
In April 1943, he was married to his late wife, Elsie Mae (Hart) Benner, with whom
he was blessed to share over 79 years of marriage before her passing on October 11,
2022.
He is survived by: one son, Gary Benner of McAlisterville; one daughter, Nancy
Potter of McAlisterville.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Naomi
Varner; one sister, Irene Troutman; and four brothers, Clair Benner, Boyd Benner,
Herman Benner, and Park Benner.
 Interment in the Goodwill Cemetery, Bunkertown.
