Elton Paul Gehman, 66, of Thompsontown, passed at 12:46 p.m. March 24, 2024, at his
home surrounded by his family.
Born May 31, 1957 in Lewistown, he is a son of Jacob and Olive Gehman of Manheim,
Pa.
Elton leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Grace (Kreider) Gehman. Also surviving are
two sons, Gerald of Mifflintown; and Elton of Metter, Ga.; three daughters, Phyllis
of Newmanstown; Barbara Hostetler of Kenton, Ohio; and Crystal, of Manheim, Pa.;
three brothers, Harry of Mifflintown; Virgil of Ewing, lll.; and Myron of
Mifflintown; three sisters, Iva Lynn Kreider of Manheim; Hazel Yoder of Ewing, IL;
and Faith Yoder of McVeytown.
He was preceded in death by a son, J. Russell Gehman.
Interment in Delaware Mennonite Church Cemetery, Thompsontown.
