Robert A. Whitely

Robert A. Whitely, 78, of Port Royal, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at his
home.

Born on December 9, 1944, in Lionville, Chester County, he is the son of the late
Frank Whitely and Grace Whitely Sloan. 

Survived by his loving wife, Carol A. (Lawrence) Whitely, with whom he shared 34
years of marriage. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, David K. Whitely of Mohnton, PA;
his daughter, Karen A. Whitely of Phoenixville, PA; his sister, Lillian Butler of
Mifflintown, PA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Esther Stoner,
and brothers, Raymond, Frank, Howard, and Jack Whitely. 

Mr. Whitely honorably served our country in the U.S. Navy from 1962 until 1966 where
he served during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
