Lewistown Sentinel - June 1,  2023
Victor M. Whitesel (Vic), formerly of Mifflintown, passed away on May 30, 2023, in
the ER at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital. Vic was born Feb. 16, 1934, to Martin and
Carrie Zimmerman Whitesel in Licking Creek.
On Jan. 16, 1954, Vic married the love of his life, Carol Varner Whitesel and they
had 5 children.
Vic is survived by his loving wife Carol, a daughter, Karen (Samuel) Varner, and 4
sons, Jeff (Kathy), Keith (Amanda), Jari (Nicole), and Brent (Avis),
Vic is also survived by his sisters, Joyce Steward and Maxine Varner and brother,
Donald Whitesel and is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Vivian Young.
