Gray, Alexander EST (estate) to Charles F. Bolton, Upper Dublin twp., Jan. 26,1877 Catherine Gray, administratrix for Alexander Gray, deceased, and William B. Gray, sold to Charles Bolton, to pay Alexander's debts the messuage, 16 acres, grist mill, saw mill, water power. Alexander died leaving a widow and 4 children. Letters of Administration were duly granted to the said widow, Catherine Gray and at an Orphan's court for the county of Montgomery, September 11, 1876, the estate was insufficient to pay his debts. Catherine received $2500 and William B. Gray received $2860 from Bolton for the property. The land was listed in the deed as being on Limekiln turnpike at the corner of the Mathias Lukens land and the land of Jacob Barnet. The land was formerly of Christopher Dresher. It was known as the Dresher Mills. It was in Upper Dublin township, Montgomery county, PA. (It is also near Susquehanna Rd.) The creek there was noted in the deed as being called " Mini Run". The deed was at Montgomery County Historical Society, Book 235, page 5. Recorder of Deeds, Index, Grantee 1784-1919, G -A to Z May 25,2005 Additional Comments: Alexander Gray was the son of George Gray. He was born 26 July 1812 in Montgomery County and he died 11 October 1875 in Montgomery County. He was a miller by trade and the Dresher Mills was the last mill he owned. He was survived by his wife, Catherine, and their children were: William B., Margaret, Alfred Reese, John R., MaryJane, Maria B., Andrew M., Lewis, David, and Isabella.
