She was a daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Julia Ann Ferree, and was married to Samule L. Spicher, Dec. 16, 1866. Their union was blessed with eight children – five sons and three daughters, of whom three sons and two daughters survive her. The funeral took place on Sunday forenoon, and was attended by a large concourse of people to pay their last respects to a good neighbor and friend. Services by Rev. C. C. Bingham. Their many friends sympathize with the bereaved husband and children.
