   CARROLL.-Suddenly, on the 2d instant, from disease contracted 
while in camp, NICHOLAS CARROLL, son ot the late Nicholas and 
Bridget Carroll, in the 24th year of his age, returned veteran 
of the 72d regiment  Pennsylvania Volunteers.
   The relatives and friends of the family, also the members of 
the 72d regiment are respectfully invited to attend his funeral, 
form the residence of his brother, Patrick Carroll, Long Land 
and Buck Road, on Wednesday morning, at 8 1/2 o’clock. Funeral 
services at St. Patrick[‘s Church; interment at Cathedral 
Cemetery.
