MR. MARTIN GARMAN, died at his home in Philadelphia Tuesday morning. The deceased was a recent visitor at Bellefonte of his brother Daniel Garman. Two other brothers are still living, Samuel Garman of Renovo and Henry Garman of Jersey Shore, who is in his 83rd year. The deceased was afflicted with asthma and bronchial complications which caused his death. He for many years was proprietor of the "Blue Anchor Inn" Hotel near the Delaware River and located in a business portion of the city. In his time he amassed a fortune of over $100,000 to which a fifteen year old son, Martin Garman Jr., is the only heir. The interment occurred on Thursday.
