Great Grandparents: Joseph Wharton, who founded the Wharton School of 
            Business Administration at the University of Pennsylvania. 
Occupation: President of Lippincott Publishing Company from 1978 to 1981 
            and served on the board since 1954. 
Place of Death: Cathedral Village in the Andorra section of Philadelphia
Survived by: Wife, four daughters by a previous marriage, 4 stepchildren, 9 grandchildren,
            6 step-grand children, a brother and a sister
Predeceased by: A sister Joanna Sorlien
Funeral: Green Street Meeting, 45 West Coulter St., Phila., PA
Interment: Jamestown RI
