    ROY.-On Saturday evening, 24th inst., JOHN ROY, son of Margaret and the late
John Roy, aged 21 years and 3 months.
    Dearest son, thou hast left us,
     Here thy loss we deeply feel-
   But 'tis God who haÕh bereft us,
     He can all our sorrows heal.
   Yet again we hope to meet thee,
      When the ray of life is sped_
    Then in Heaven with joy to greet thee,
      Where no farewell tear is shed.
   His relatives and friends and those of the family are respectfully invited to attend
his funeral, from his mother's residence, in the rear of No.480 North Sixth street,
above Poplar, this (Wednesday) Afternoon, at 2 o'clock without further notice. to
proceed to Odd Fellows' Cemetery.
