* Enlisted July 10, 1861 at Madison, Indiana 
* Mustered in Aug. 22, 1861 
* Discharged Aug. 31, 1864 by reason of expiration of term 
* Enrolled Feb. 2, 1865 at Greensburg, Indiana as 2nd Lieutenant in Co. D 146th 
Regiment Indiana Infantry at Greensburg, Indiana 
* Discharged Mar. 2, 1865 at Indianapolis, Ind. by reason of muster in as 
Captain of Co. G 146th Regiment Indiana Infantry 
* Discharged Aug. 31, 1865 at Baltimore, Md. 
* Captured June 18, 1863 at Gun Springs, Va. 
* Served six months in Libby Prison 
* He had money which rebels overlooked, paid guard to get him food. 
* Was exchanged for a rebel officer. 
* Brother of Lewis G. Dom.
