* Mustered in Aug. 6, 1863 as Sergeant in Harrisburg, Pa. 
* Mustered out May 24, 1863 with company 
* Promoted to 1st Sergeant Apr. 13, 1863 
* Served Aug. 14, 1862 - May 26, 1863 - 9 month 12 days 
* Promoted by his Colonel for bravery
