* Served till the close of the War 
* He was in the following battles: Frederick City, Monocacy Junction, Berryville 
* Promoted to Sergeant 
* NOTE: This may be Risor E. Sweitzer who was in Co. D 3rd Maryland Potomac Home 
Brigade
