Her death is the result of embolism. She was in Salisbury and apparently in good health not more than about two hours before her death, but complained of some pain in the region of the heart, and soon retired. At 11:30 p.m., she was discovered to be dead, having died while sleeping. Mrs. Anderson was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bowers, and was born at Ridgway, Pa. Her father died some years ago, and her mother, who survives her, is now the wife of Richard Franklin. She is also survived by her stepfather, two sons, Harold and Eugene, at home; and by one brother and one sister, namely, Harry Miller of Salisbury and Mrs. Mary Bartle of Rochester, N.Y. Funeral services will be conducted at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Wright, near neighbors of Mrs. Anderson, on Saturday, at 2:30 p.m. The funeral arrangement was not complete when these lines were written. Burial will be in the Hostetler Cemetery in Greenville Township, under the direction of Stanley M. Thomas, the Salisbury mortician. Meyersdale Republican, September 5, 1940
