  John C. ARDEN
  
  John C. Arden, 66, Somerset RD 5, died April 15, 1974 in Somerset Community
  Hospital.  Born Jan 17, 1908 in Goodtown, Somerset County, son of the late
  Horce and Matilda Lichty Arden.  Preceded in death by his wife the former
  Laura M. Howard and a brother Arthur.  Survived by these children: Mrs.
  Ralph (Helen) Brandt, Somerset, Mrs. Glenn (Arlene) Butler of Somerset RD 2
  and John C. Jr. of Somerset RD 5; two grandchildren; he was a brother of
  Mrs. Lloyd Kimmel, and Clifford, both of Somerset RD 2; Mrs. Harold
  Stutzman and Mrs. Millard Rayman both of Friedens RD 2.  Retired employee of
  PBS Coals, Inc.  Veteran of World War II and a member of the FOE.  Friends will
  be received after 2pm today, Tuesday, in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home
  where service will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 pm with the Rev. Paul
  Weber officiating.  Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park.
