  GEORGE ATCHISON
  
  George Atchison, 70, of Main Street, Rockwood, died Oct. 17, 1996, at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Feb. 7, 1926, in Rockwood.  Son of the late Simon
  and Ellie (Rush) Atchison.  Preceded in death by parents, three brothers
  and two sisters.  Survived by wife of 46 years, the former Alice Shuck, and
  two daughters: Mrs. Clarence (Alice) Hoffman, Friedens, and Linda Atchison
  of Somerset; also 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and a sister,
  Ivy Packard of Arkansas, Retired from Walters Tire Service with 28 years of
  service.  Member of Milford United Methodist Church.  Friends received from
  7-9pm Friday and 2-4 and 7-9 pm Saturday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral
  Home, Rockwood, where funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 pm Sunday,
  Rev. John A. Ludwick officiating.  Interment, Hauger Cemetery, Rockwood. 
  In lieu of flowers, family requets memorial cash contributions be given to
  the family.
