  THEODORE AVERY
  
  Theodore N. Avery, 80, White Star Residence, Jennerstown, formerly of
  Jenners, died April 18, 1990, at Somerset Hospital.  Born Oct. 1, 1909, in
  Piedmont, WVa., son of Charles and Polly (Michaels) Avery.  Preceded in
  death by parents; wife, the former Margaret Marie Nicklow, who died May 27,
  1978; two infant sons; daughter, Delores Popernack Felix; brothers: Lewis
  "Mike" and James.  Survived by daughter, Margaret, wife of Howard Firm,
  Boswell; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.  Brother of: Nellie
  Basye and Lorna Pugh, both of Acosta; and Luther, Dover, Pa.  Member of
  Jenner Grace Brethren Church, Tire Hill Local 998 UMWA and Jenner Rod and
  Gun Club, Peace-time soldier with US Army.  Friends received from 1-4 and
  7-9 pm Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service
  will be held at 11 am Saturday, with the Rev. Max DeArmey officiating. 
  Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
