  VALERIA M. BAER
  
    Valeria M. Baer, 81, of Baltimore, Md., died January 22, in Union Memorial
  Hospital, Baltimore.
    Born February 25, 1903, in Meyersdale, she was the daughter of the later
  Cornelius and Sarah (Diehl) Diehl.  She was preceded in death by her husband,
  Homer R.
    She is survived by two sons and one daughter, Cornelius H., Samuel L., and
  Mrs. Gene E. Smith, of Baltimore, Md., five grandchildren, and a sister Mrs.
  Arlene D. Mills.
    Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Friday at Leckemby Funeral Home where
  services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Carl P. Mitchell
  officiating.  Interment in Union Cemetery.
