Her death was due to paralysis with which she was afflicted for about one year. She is survived by her husband, William Barnhart, and the following named children: Mrs. Joseph Swindell, Meyersdale; Mrs. Julius Smith, Jerome; Norman Barnhart, Meyersdale; Mrs. George Ohler, Windber; Mrs. Orie Meyers, Central City; Joseph Barnhart, Meyersdale. Four children preceded her in death, namely; Mrs. Ira O. Beal, Mrs. Charles Tipton and Misses Grace and Orty Barnhart. She is survived by two brothers, Frank Burket of Somerset, and Walter Burket of Chicago, Ill., and one sister, Mrs. John Swindell of Midland, Mich. She had 41 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Barnhart was a faithful member of the Main Street Brethren Church. Funeral services were held at the Swindell home at 2:30 p.m., May 5th, her pastor, Rev. Willis E. Ronk being the minister in charge. Funeral director Joseph L. Tressler had charge of the burial arrangements. Interment was made in Union Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, May 7, 1931
