Berkey Jr., 71, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, died Feb. 28, 1994, in Fort Pierce, Fla. A native of Hooversville, he had lived in Port St. Lucie for 5 years. He moved to Port St. Lucie from Highlands, N.C., before retiring. He was president of Solar Fuel Company. He was a member of the Christian Church in Hooversville. Member of Masonic bodies, including the Shrine. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Betty, of Port St. Lucie, and a sister, Norma B. Yoder of Naples, Fla. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. The Roger L.
