  BERKEY
  
    Valeria A. Berkey, 101, Somerset, died Feb. 12, 1986, at Siemon Lakeview
  Manor Estate.  Born Sept. 11, 1884, in Lincoln Township, daughter of the
  late Jacob J. and Mary (Airsman) Miller.  Also preceded in death by her
  husband, Samuel M. Berkey.  Mother of nine children:  Mrs. William
  (Margaret) Shaffer, Somerset; Mrs. George (Anna) Maurer, Orlando, Fla.;
  Mrs. Ralph (Irene) Barnett, Somerset; Levi, Somerset RD 7; Charles,
  Somerset, RD 4; and Harold Sipesville.  Three children deceased:  Mary,
  Cloyd and Telford; 28 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and seven
  great-great-grandchildren.  Sister of:  Mrs. Margaret Hay, Sipesville; and
  Clarence F. Miller, Somerset RD 3.  Also preceded in death by three sisters
  and one brother.  Member of the Edie (now Mt. Laurel) United Church of
  Christ, where she played an active role in the life of the church.  Friends
  will be received from 3-9 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home,
  where services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. George Beer
  officiating.  Interment, Edie Cemetery.
