  Ellen J. (Thomas) Bittner, 97, of Wyandott, Mich., formerly of
  Meyersdale, died Nov. 10, 2003 at Rivergate Terrace in Riverview,
  Mich.  Born Aug. 6, 1906 in Meyersdale, a daughter of the late James
  and Mary Ann (Shuck) Thomas.  Also preceded in death by her husband,
  Joseph L. Bittner, Nov. 7, 1980.  Survived by a daughter Grace; wife,
  of William Bisbing, Wyandotte, Mich.; two grandchildren, William J.
  Bisbing, and Mardell McLeod; also six great-grandchildren and five
  great-great-grandchildren.  A sister of Hazel Schafer, Duquesne and a
  chosen daughter Rhoda Perilli, Wheeling, W.Va.  A member of First
  United Methodist church, Meyersdale.  Friends will be received 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where
  service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Marlin A.
  Miller officiating.  Interment Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.

    Ellen J. (Thomas) Bittner, 97, of Wyandotte, Mich., formerly of
  Meyersdale, died Monday, November 10, 2003, in Riverview, Mich.
    Born August 6, 1906, in Meyersdale, she was a daughter of the late
  James and Mary Ann (Shuck) Thomas.  Also preceded in death by her
  husband, Joseph L. Bittner, November 7, 1980.
    She is survived by a daughter Grace, wife of William Bisbing,
  Wyandotte, Mich.; two grandchildren:  William J. Bisbing, and Mardell
  Mcleod; also six great-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 
  She was a sister of Hazel Schafer, Duquesne; and a chosen daughter
  Rhoda Perilli, Wheeling, W.V.
    She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Meyersdale.
    Friends were received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Price
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 10:00
  a.m. Thursday (today), with the Rev. Marlin A. Miller officiating.
