  BITTNER
  
    Richard William Bittner, 73, Sipesville, died May 22, 1994, at the
  Somerset Hospital.  Born July 10, 1920, at Boswell.  He was the son
  of the late Lloyd James and Susan (Gilmour) Bittner.  Preceded in
  death by a brother, Robert D. Bittner.  Survived by his wife, the
  former Margaret E. Eichelberger, to whom he was married for 52
  years.  He was a retired restaurateur and operated Bittners Drive-In
  Restaurant of Somerset from 1953 to 1973 and Moby Dicks from 1973 to
  1989.  He was a 1939 graduate of Boswell High School.  A veteran of
  the U.S. Army Air Corps, World War II.  Member of Sipesville Church
  of the Brethren.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Tuesday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, and viewing from 10
  to 11 a.m. Wednesday the time of service at the Sipesville Church of
  the Brethren, the Rev. Danny R. Bailey officiating.  Interment at
  Sipesville Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to Southwest Pa.
