  BITTNER
  
  Verl C. Bittner, Sr., 80, of Glencoe RD 1, died Sept. 2, 1986, at
  home.  Born May 12, 1906, in Meyersdale, the son of the late Alan and
  Linnie (Poorbaugh) Bittner.  Survived by his wife of 51 years, the
  former Lydia Leecy; sons, Verl Jr., married to the former Judy
  Shaulis, Glencoe RD 1; and Ray, married to the former Darlene Boyer,
  Cumberland, Md.  Also survived by grandchildren, Kristine, Karen,
  Kevin, Ray Jr. and Valerie.  Also survived by brother, Charles V.,
  Mt. Savage, Md.  A retired farmer and drove a school bus for 38 years
  in the Glencoe area for Berlin-Brothersvalley Schools.  A member of
  Mt. Olivet Methodist Church.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, where
  services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Ray Gnagey
  officiating.  Interment, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
