Son of the late Frank and Mary (Chmiletska) Blucas. Was a native of Ralphton. He was a self-employed paint contractor and a member of Hampton Park Baptist church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife: E. Jean Lopes Blucas of the Home; two sons, Jan Blucas of Plainfield, Ill., and Rick Blucas of Taylors; two brothers, Frank Blucas and John Blucas, both of Hollsopple; three sisters: Mrs. Stanley (Wanda) Cotchen of Hollsopple; Mrs. William (Mildred) Rolik of Fairfield, N.J., and Estelle Blucas of Clifton, N.J., and three grandchildren. Preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Ruth Harshberger Blucas, and a brother, Walter Blucas. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Wood Mortuary, Greer, S.C. Burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jan Ishoy, Bill Kring, Jay Detrow, Jim Fox, Marty Hartman and Steve Shaffer. Visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Wood Mortuary.
