Bolden, 75, LaVale, Md., died Sept. 3, 1995 at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland. Born Dec. 16, 1919 in Dunbar, W. Va., son of the late John A. and Marjorie (Gill) Bolden. Also preceded by three brothers: Jack, Richard and Kenneth. Survivors include his wife, Mary (Baer) Bolden; one son, David Bolden, Fredericksburg, Va.; one daughter, Elizabeth Fischer and husband, James Huntington, W. Va.; one sister, Mrs. Vincent (Marjorie) Jacob, Somerset, and two grandchildren, Robert Fischer and Stephanie Fischer, Huntington, W. Va. Retired printer from the Cumberland Times News. Member of LaVale Lions Club for 18 years. Named Lion of the Year in 1993. Member of LaVale United Methodist Church. Volunteer member of Meals on Wheels. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, 1302 National Highway, LaVale, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. Glen Dameron officiating. Interment, Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made to LaVale United Methodist Church, corner of Woodlawn Street and National Highway or to the LaVale Rescue Squad, 977 National Highway, both in LaVale, 21502.
