Borosky, 60, 106 School Ave., Jerome, died unexpectedly Feb. 19, 1979 at home. Born Nov. 11, 1918 in Scranton, he was a son of Roman and Rose (Mroczkowski) Borosky. He was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Stanley and Henry; and sister, Marion Greybeck. Survived by widow, the former Florence Baronie; and these children: Raymond, married to the former Zola Sterner, Buffalo, N.Y.; Louise, wife of Frank Romus, Carinbrook; Tom, married to the former Mary Locamay, Jerome; David, married to the former Susan Bittlebrun, Boswell RD 1; and Miss Diane, at home; and six grandchildren. Brother of Catherine, widow of John Groves, Long Island, New York; Chester and John, both of Jenners; Charles, Hollsopple RD 2; Jennie, wife of Ray Berkey, Erie; and Joseph, Ox Hill, Md. Member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Jerome; Polish Falcons Nest 556, Jerome; Disabled American Veterans, Huntington; and American Federation of State Employees; veteran of WW II and an employee of PennDOT. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where rosary wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial 9 a.m. Thursday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Jerome, with the Rev. Hubert Konieczny. Interment, church cemetery. Daily American, February 20, 1979 [B2059]
