    Jean C. Brant, 59, Berlin, passed on June 24, 2007, at Memorial Medical Center in
  Johnstown. Born Feb. 29, 1948, in Berlin, she is the daughter of the late Leo and Edna
  (Colflesh) Brant. She is survived by her brother, Leo Brant Jr., Somerset; sisters, Lois
  Deist, Berlin, and Dolores Kern, married to George, Woodbridge, Va.; and several nieces
  and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held 1 p.m.
  Saturday. The Rev. S a n f o r d Blankenship officiating. Interment at Somerset County
  Memorial Park.
