  BRANT
  
    Mabel M. "Mammie" Brant, 92, of Meyersdale died May 28, 1997, in
  Meyersdale Manor.  Born Nov. 21, 1904, in Brothersvalley Township, a
  daughter of the late Edward and Linda (Martz) Hay.  Also preceded in
  death by her husband, Roy C. Brant, and her sister, Miriam E.
  Werner.  Survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving
  friends.  Mammie resided with her niece, Patricia Grew; her husband
  Earl and their daughter, Keena.  A member of the Amity United Church
  of Christ, Meyersdale.  Former employee of the G.C. Murphy Co. 
  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Price Funeral
  Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday,
  with Pastor Bruce Ashlock officiating.  Interment, Hays Church
  Cemetery.
