    BRENDLEN
    
      Mary K. Brendlen, 91, of Canton, Ohio, died Jan. 9, 1999, in the
  Canton Christian Home, Canton.  Born in Somerset, daughter of Willis
  and Nettie (Hechler) Singo.  Resident of the area since 1927.  Was a
  member of Zion United Church of Christ, Rebecca Sunday School Class,
  Woman's Club and Garden Club of North Canton.  Survived by several
  nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.  Preceded in
  death by her husband Fred in 1980; eight brothers; and seven
  sisters.  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the
  Karlo & Sons Funeral Home, North Canton, with Dr. Thomas C. Smith
  officiating.  Burial: Forest Hill Cemetery, Canton.  Friends may call
  at the funeral home one hour before services.
