  BROWN
  
    Arthur M. Brown, 81, of Meyersdale, DOA May 17, 1993 at Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Born Jan. 26, 1912 in Salisbury, a son of the
  late Harvey and Mary Jane (Harding) Brown.  Preceded in death by
  wife, Clara (Valentine) in 1987.  Survived by three children: Wilbur
  J. of Barberton, Ohio; Paul F. of Meyersdale; and Helen (Putnam)
  Mearkle of Clearville RD 2; also 9 grandchildren; 11 great-great
  grandchildren. Also survived by one brother and two sisters: Ralph of
  Salisbury; Ellen Wagner of Meyersdale and Lena McKenzie of Fairmont,
  Md.  A member of Zion Lutheran Church.  A retired maintenance
  employee at Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Friends will be received
  from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Leckemby Funeral Home, where
  service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Donald F. Sause.
  Interment, Union Cemetery.
