  Veda I. Brown, 75, of Brotherton Rd., Berlin, died July 27, 2001 at
  home.  Born March 6, 1926 in Denton, Md.  Daughter of Furman and
  Hazel (Whistler) Replogle.  Preceded in death by parents, husband
  Leon and sister Pauline Young.  Survived by daughter Nancy, married
  to Robert Burkett of Berlin; grandson John Melton of Rockville, Md.,
  and sister Dorothy Selner of Frederick, Md.  Family will receive
  friends from 10 a.m. until service 11 a.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Berlin, Rev. Timothy E. Resh officiating.  Interment, Park Lawn
  Memorial Park, Rockville, Md.
