  MRS. EDNA P. BURGESS
  
    Mrs. Edna P. Burgess, 77, of Friendsville, Md., died Aug. 16, 1975
  in Cuppett-Weeks Nursing Home in Oakland, Md.
    Born in Sandy Spring, Md., she was a daughter of the late John W.
  and Martha (Friend) Savage.
    She was a member of the Friendsville Assembly of God Church.
    Surviving are a son, Lloyd W. Burgess, Aurora, W. Va.; two
  daughters, Miss Thelma Burgess, Friendsville; and Mrs. Janet Avery,
  Seabrook, Texas; also six grandchildren; four great grandchildren and
  a sister, Mrs. Goldie Jenkins of Markleysburg.
    Funeral service was conducted Wednesday afternoon in the
  Friendsville Assembly of God Church with Rev. Robert Miller
  officiating.  Interment in Sandy Spring Cemetery under the direction
  of Newman Funeral Home.
