ELIZA CHRISTNER

  Mrs. Eliza Christner, 77, widow of Lewis Christner, died Thursday afternoon at 
her home in Garrett.  She was a daughter of Samuel and Rose Ann (Judy) Walters.  
Surviving are eight children - Sylvester, Garrett; Mrs. William Murray, New 
Kensington; Edgar and Mrs. Estella Buckman, both of Somerset; Mrs. Charles 
Martin, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Stover Meyer, Somerset; Albert of Garrett and William, 
Dayton, O.  She was a sister of Austin Walters, Garrett R.D.
  Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home by 
Rev. Ellwood Stahl, pastor of the Garrett Lutheran Church.  Interment was made 
in the Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
