(Bud) Clay, 63, Garrett, died March 24, 1986, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born April 26, 1922, in Milford Township, he was a son of the late Ephriam W. and Lulu Mae (Thomas) Clay. Preceded in death by his wife, the former Ivadene L. Judy; a sister, DeElda May Clay; and two brothers, Glenn T., and Wilbur. He was a brother of Charles H., Harry E., both of Rockwood; Clyde E., Rockwood RD 1; Clarence J., Somerset RD 1; and Miss Nellie L., Somerset. Also survived by a niece, Mrs. Betty Arnold, Rockwood RD 1. He retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp., Johnstown, after 34 years service. He was a member of United Steel Workers of America, Local 2632; veteran of U.S. Army, World War II; member of VFW Post 554 and the America Legion Post 30, both of Somerset. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday. Interment, Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
