Clevenger, 53, of Markleysburg, died May 21, 1980 at Uniontown Hospital. She was born in Jennings, and was a daughter of the late Lewis and Stella (Stein) Hoover. She is survived by her husband, Leroy Clevenger; three sons, Lewis Clevenger and Herb Clevenger, both of Friendsville, Md.; Vernon Clevenger, Concrete, Wash.; three daughters, Mrs. Violet Garlick, Farmington; Mrs. Donna Ravenscroft, Markleysburg, and Miss Diane Clevenger, at home; four brothers, William Hoover, Friendsville, Md.; Elmer Hoover, Accident, Md.; Thomas Hoover, Bitlinger, Md.; and Albert Hoover, Albright, W. Va.; six sisters, Mrs: Mabel Stanton and Mrs. Curt Patton, both of Accident, Md.; Mrs. Edna Broadwater, Addison, Pa.; Mrs. Bertha Wilt, McHenry, Md.; Mrs. Annie Wilburn, Grantsville, Md.; and Mrs. Eva Wilburn, Bittinger, Md.; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, where services were conducted by the Rev. Danny Pardon. Interment will be in Thomas Cemetery, Markleysburg. The Republic, May 29, 1980 [C0547]
